Oklahoma State unveils 1987 Sun Bowl throwback uniforms for West Virginia

Oklahoma State revealed its 1987 Sun Bowl throwback uniforms Tuesday night for their Big 12 conference opener against West Virginia on Saturday. OSU will wear the uniforms in honor of all-time leading rusher Thurman Thomas, who will be the first inductee into the Cowboys' ring of honor at halftime of the game.  He was the 1987 Sun Bowl MVP after he rushed for 157 yards and four touchdowns on 33 carries against WVU in his final collegiate game, a 35-33 OSU win.  Thomas' name and No.  34 will be unveiled atop the west end zone of Boone Pickens Stadium.
